Join us on a group trip to
Fiery Hawaii!
A travel story full of adventures and nature, saturated with volcanic beauty, extraordinary views around every corner, and small treats that make the trip unforgettable. Vibrant Oahu, lush green Kauai, fashionable Maui, and the volcanic Big Island.
5th November– 18th November 2027
What can you expect?
Honolulu is the vibrant capital of Hawaii, located on the doorstep of the Pacific Ocean. The streets are adorned with palm trees, surf shops are found at every corner, and the pleasant tropical climate makes Waikiki even more inviting. Aloha Hawaii!
We spend 4 days on Oahu. We visit the most beautiful corners of the island, including Hanauma Bay, the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens and many stunning viewpoints. The traditional luau takes us on a culinary carousel of Hawaiian flavors, and we learn about dances, customs and habits of Polynesian islands at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Pearl Harbor reminds us of the sad history, but we quickly improve the atmosphere with local Hawaiian coffee. We taste local macadamia nuts and swim in a pool under a waterfall in the wild jungle. Cherry on top is a jeep ride through Jurassic Park – this is where the famous films were filmed!

We fly to Kauai, the least touristy island of all. Green mountains, transformed by millennia of erosion into a stunning natural scenery, are our backdrop for the next 4 days. Kauai takes our breath away by itself, but we go one step further – we get to know it among the most beautiful hikes, waterfalls and beaches. Deep red canyons, green hollows, all the way to the pleasures offered by the sea. The colorful underwater world leaves no one indifferent, but if your standards are really high you’ll be impressed by countless seals and green Hawaiian turtles – so lerge that you don’t notice them just because you’re looking for something smaller. If so far Kauai isn’t your favorite island yet, you can treat yourself to the most beautiful helicopter flight in the world – over the Na’Pali coast.
The third island in our travel story is fashionable Maui. We are enchanted by the narrow winding Road to Hana, which leads to a small town somewhere far behind a volcano. A volcano? The “House of the Sun”, as the locals call Haleakala, is a sleeping giant and has thousands of small volcanic cones scattered across the landscape, furrowed by millions of years of fiery activity. We dedicate 2 days to Maui.
The fourth island on our trip is the Big Island of Hawaii, where we stay for the last 5 days. White sand beaches, rich underwater world and roaring waterfalls slowly round out our Hawaiian story. Some breathtaking hikes convince us of the diversity of each island. And why the name “Fiery Hawaii”? The Big Island is home to two of the most active volcanoes in the world, Kilauea and Mauna Loa. With a bit of luck (from a safe distance), we observe a live volcanic eruption and burning lava, which reshapes the largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago.
These are Fiery Hawaii.
You will be traveling with 2 guides.
We travel for 14 days and sleep 13-times in double rooms in hotels (4* and 3*).
We have chosen accommodations that have their own kitchen in addition to a bedroom and bathroom. You prepare your own breakfast, but the cost of breakfast is included in the price of the trip (we purchase the groceries at the store). Hotels with breakfasts are very rare in Hawaii.
Hawaii in November have pleasant summer temperatures between 23°C and 30°C. The sun rises at 6:20am, and sets after 6:30pm.
We explore the islands with rented vehicles. This allows us flexibility on the route and time. We drive the cars ourselves, but the most driving is done with our 2 guides. An international driving license is required for driving.
Fiery Hawaii is Wandering and chill.
We advise taking little luggage – we move often and you’re more mobile with less luggage. The luggage weight limit on domestic flights is 20kg. There will be a laundry opportunity at no extra charge during the trip.
Our group is small, up to 12 fellow travelers, which allows us faster logistics and a more friendly atmosphere. There is no surcharge for a small group.
Our journey is dynamic. It includes walks and treks (which you can also skip), 5 changes of accommodation, daily driving between places. The days can be long, but not too strenuous. On average, we spend 2 hours in the car per day, but these 2 hours are mostly very panoramic and with numerous stops.
