Wander Responder

General Terms & Conditions

The travel program is tentative and is adjusted along the way to current political, weather and other objective conditions (changed air or bus services, delays in public transport, road closures, landslides, traffic accidents, adverse weather conditions, theft, etc.). Improvisation is therefore sometimes unavoidable.

  • In the event of unforeseen changes over which the organizer has no influence (change of program due to force majeure: natural disasters, severe weather, political unrest, cancellations or changes to transport connections, illnesses and injuries in the group, etc.), any additional costs will be covered by the trip participants.
  • The organizer and guide try to ensure safety along the way, but this cannot be guaranteed 100%. Participation in the trip and activities, whether or not on the program, are at your own risk.
  • The advance payment is a reservation of the passenger’s place on the trip and is non-refundable in the event of the passenger’s cancellation. If the trip is not provided, the advance payment is fully refunded. The passenger can transfer the advance payment to another trip of his or her choice, if they cancel trip participation at least 90 days before the start of the trip.
  • The price of the travel arrangement is recorded and published on the website www.wanderresponder.com. The price includes the services listed in the program and under “included”. The early bird offer is valid for full payment of the price until the date of validity of the early bird offer. After this date, the standard price applies, even if the traveler has expressed interest during the early bird offer. All individual agreements are recorded in an email message between the organizer and the traveler. The traveler is obliged to respect the deadlines for agreement and payments – otherwise, Wander Responder reserves the right to terminate the contract, refund the paid amounts and withhold the advance payment. Wander Responder may change the price of the travel arrangement even after the conclusion of the contract with the traveler, namely due to changes in the exchange rate or due to changes in the tariffs of carriers that affect the price of the tourist package. In the event of a price change under this heading, Wander Responder will notify the traveler in writing no later than 30 (thirty) days before departure and issue an additional document (invoice), which the traveler is obliged to pay before departure.
  • Wander Responder does not charge a small group fee. The maximum number of passengers in a group is stated in each trip on the website. The minimum number of passengers to operate a trip is 4.
  • Special services are those that are generally not included in the price of the travel arrangement (single room, special meals, other optional extras, etc.) or for which additional charges are foreseen in the program (excursions, visas, other optional extras, etc.), so the traveler pays for them separately, unless otherwise specified in the program. The traveler submits any special service requests upon registration and pays for them in addition to the travel price. The published prices for special services are valid only if these services are ordered and paid for at the time of registration for the trip. During the trip, the traveler pays for special services to the tour leader in the appropriate currency, if this service can still be ordered during the trip, at the price valid on site.
  • If a traveler registers for the trip on their own, they can leave it to Wander Responder to find them a companion to share the room. Notwithstanding the above, a traveler who registers individually must pay an additional fee for a single room upon registration. If a companion is found for a traveler who registers individually, the single room fee will be refunded to the traveler after the trip.
  • Wander Responder does not offer travel cancellation insurance – the traveler arranges this himself. In the event that the traveler takes out travel cancellation insurance with one of the insurance companies, the traveler’s rights under the cancellation insurance are exercised with that insurance company, and the general terms and conditions of the insurance company apply. The course of resolving the claim and the time for resolving the claim are within the jurisdiction of the insurance company with which the cancellation insurance is taken out.
  • The traveler shall inform the boutique agency Wander Responder of their wish to pay for the travel arrangement in installments upon registration. The amount of the advance payment is prescribed in the offer published on the website and shall not change. Wander Responder envisages payment for the trip in 3 (three) installments or less – advance payment, flight ticket, principal amount. If the traveler wishes to divide the trip price into several installments, the following interest rates shall apply to the applicable price without the advance payment: 4 installments = +2%, 5 or 6 installments = +3%, 7 or 8 installments = +4%.
  • The traveler has the right to request a change to the contract (e.g. change of name, additional services in hotels, change of accommodation, etc.) after its conclusion, and Wander Responder is obliged to check whether this is possible at all. In the event of a change to the contract at the traveler’s request, Wander Responder may charge the traveler administrative costs in the amount of EUR 30.00 for the change. In the event that the change results in additional costs (e.g. change of name on the airline ticket, change to a better hotel, etc.), the traveler is obliged to pay them.
  • The traveler has the right to cancel the travel arrangement in writing via email to info@wanderresponder.com. In the event of cancellation by the traveler, Wander Responder has the right to refund an amount that depends on the time remaining until the start of the trip. In any case, the advance payment is not subject to refund, unless otherwise specified in these terms and conditions.

Cancellation costs:

  • cancellation up to 50 days before departure = 20% of the package price,
  • cancellation from 49 to 35 days before departure = 30% of the package price,
  • cancellation 34 to 26 days before departure = 50% of the package price,
  • cancellation 25 to 20 days before departure = 80% of the package price,
  • cancellation later than 19 days before departure = 100% of the package price.

When canceling a travel arrangement before departure, the traveler must provide written notice or sign a cancellation document issued by the boutique agency Wander Responder. If the traveler refuses to sign or confirm this document, it is considered that the trip has not been canceled.

  • Passenger cancellation provisions: During the trip, the passenger may interrupt the trip at his/her own request. If the passenger interrupts the trip at his/her own request, he/she is not entitled to a refund of costs or purchase price upon return, either partially or in full. If the passenger changes the program at his/her own request during the trip or does not travel according to the program that is an integral part of the program and the contract with the Wander Responder agency, it is considered that the passenger has withdrawn from the contract during the trip. In this case, the passenger is liable for the costs or damage caused by this. In the event of a change in the program at his/her own request or due to force majeure, without there being any reasons on the part of Wander Responder due to improperly performed service, the passenger is not entitled to claim any compensation or price reduction.
  • Wander Responder, the guide or an authorized person may refuse a person at any time before the trip or on the day of departure if they assess that the traveler could endanger the health or property of themselves or others, or who is clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other such substances at the time of departure. In this case, Wander Responder will act in accordance with the provisions regarding the traveler’s cancellation.
  • Wander Responder has the right to request the passenger to terminate the joint trip with the group during the trip if he/she fails to ensure that he/she personally, his/her personal documents and his/her luggage meet the conditions prescribed by border, customs, sanitary, monetary and other regulations, or if he/she is clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other such substances, or if he/she behaves inappropriately towards other passengers and the group requests his/her exclusion. In this case, Wander Responder will act in accordance with the provisions on the passenger’s cancellation. Wander Responder will claim all damage that the passenger may have caused on the trip or during the duration of the trip due to his/her inappropriate behavior.
  • The passenger receives a pre-departure notification no later than 20 (twenty) days before departure. Any damage that would arise because the passenger provided an incomplete or incorrect email address is borne by the passenger. In the event that the passenger does not receive the notification within the specified period, he is obliged to contact info@wanderresponder.com and request it. Complaints from undelivered email addresses will not be considered.
  • The passenger is obliged to comply with all customs and foreign exchange regulations of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as the regulations of all other countries to and through which he/she travels. If the passenger is unable to continue his/her journey due to non-compliance with the regulations, he/she shall bear all consequences and costs arising in this regard for him/her and all other passengers.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the trip if extraordinary circumstances arise before or during the trip that could not have been expected, removed or avoided, and for the Wander Responder agency, these circumstances constitute a valid reason for not starting the trip if they existed at the time of conclusion of the contract.

Wander Responder reserves the right (and is not responsible) for changes to the date and time of departure or for cancellations of the travel arrangement due to changes in flight schedules or force majeure, and the right to change the direction of travel if the travel conditions change (new schedule, uncertain situation in the country where the program is organized, natural disasters or other unforeseen causes beyond the organizer’s control), without special compensation and in accordance with applicable passenger transport regulations.

The liability of the boutique agency Wander Responder is limited only to the failure to carry out a specific part of the program, in the part that entails appropriate material costs. The organizer is not liable for damage that may arise from delays, cancellations or changes to transportation or means of transportation.

  • The traveler must have a valid passport or other valid document that allows him to enter the country to which or through which he is traveling. The traveler is obliged to pay attention to all provisions regarding the validity of the travel document. The validity of the document is considered on the LAST day of travel! Wander Responder is not responsible for any inconvenience or forced interruption of the traveler’s trip in this regard.

The traveler is obliged to obtain the visas required for these countries, unless this is included in the travel program organized by Wander Responder. If the traveler fails to fulfill this obligation, we will act in accordance with the provisions on the traveler’s cancellation. If Wander Responder arranges your visa, we do not guarantee the success of obtaining a visa. The costs of obtaining visas will not be refunded to the traveler. In the event of refusal of entry into the country or other obstacles, the traveler bears all costs. It is considered that the traveler arranges the visa himself if he does not deliver all necessary documents to Wander Responder within the prescribed period.

Due to the requirements of international passenger transport (air, ship, bus, etc.), the passenger is obliged to provide all necessary information about all travel participants he/she is registering upon registration. The information must fully match the information in the official documents that travel participants are required to carry with them in accordance with the regulations on crossing the state border and relevant foreign legislative acts. In the event that incorrect information causes a delay, additional costs or interruption of the trip for other travel participants, the passenger is responsible for all costs incurred by the travel participants.

If the passenger loses or has his documents stolen during the trip, but they are absolutely necessary for the continuation of the trip or for returning to his home country, the passenger must obtain new ones at his own expense. In the event that the passenger has to interrupt the trip due to the loss or theft of documents, he is not entitled to any refund of the paid tourist package or reimbursement of expenses.

  • On a trip, care must be taken for one’s personal belongings, for which each individual is responsible and takes care of, for the entire duration of the trip. Any damage to equipment, losses and thefts are part of the trip, for which each individual is responsible (the traveler assumes all responsibility for his or her property and will not claim any damage from the tour organizer), and the guide is obliged to help arrange formal matters to alleviate the resulting conditions, situations or conditions. The tour organizer is also not liable for any non-pecuniary damage, especially not due to bodily injuries suffered. In the event of force majeure, if a traveler develops serious physical or psychological problems, in the event of a serious injury or illness, the tour program may also be changed.
  • Wander Responder is not responsible for the transport, theft or damage of the passenger’s luggage or other personal belongings, valuables and documents from accommodation facilities (hotel rooms, apartments, etc.) and means of transport (planes, buses, ships, etc.). The passenger must report lost or damaged luggage to the carrier or hotel. All costs or damage that may arise as a result are borne by the passenger.
  • Wander Responder is not responsible for the punctuality of flights, nor for flight delays, nor for changes to the passenger’s itinerary that may occur as a result of such delays. In the event that the airline cancels the flight before the start of the trip, the passenger is entitled to a full refund of the price paid. In the event of a flight cancellation, the passenger is not entitled to a refund of the costs of a visa required to enter the country to which he or she is travelling, or of the costs of vaccinations required by that country.
  • Health insurance is recommended for travel (which covers the costs of treatment abroad, transportation of an injured or sick person to their home country, etc.). The tour operator is not responsible for any incurred treatment costs.
  • Since there is a possibility of losing luggage during the flight, it is recommended to pack the most necessary items in your personal luggage. The airline is responsible for lost luggage or inconvenience due to a flight delay according to its rules.
  • A healthy team spirit is a prerequisite for the success of the trip and the special experiences that await you. Any problems will be solved on the spot within the entire group or with the guide. Passengers are asked to cooperate with the guide.
  • Each participant confirms that they have no health, psychological or physical restrictions for the trip they are applying for, or are obliged to notify the organizer upon registration if they have any defects that could affect the course of the trip.
  • By completing the application form, you confirm that you are aware of all prices, conditions, and risks associated with the trip and that you participate in the trip at your own risk.

Wander Responder protects all collected passenger data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. By completing the application form, the passenger agrees to the use of his/her personal data, as well as the data of all those on the application form, for the purpose of obtaining the necessary documents related to the selected trip, as well as for statistical processing (only for the needs of Wander Responder) and informing about our trips. If you do not want to receive our notifications after the trip, you can unsubscribe from sending e-mails at any time.
